Shoppe Updates:
I have been busy scanning and uploading new vintage postcard images for your enjoyment! While I have added close to 200 images - I still have over 1,200 to go just with holiday / greeting postcards from the early 1900's through 1928. I also have acquired about 400 photos of "instant relatives" that need to be added. So....the next few weeks and months will be busy with the scanner.....lots of new things to come!

Vintage Image Madness - April Newsletter

Happy Spring! I have to chuckle a bit as I write that since we just got 13 and 1/2 inches of snow overnight. I guess you just never know what the weather will hold in store for you. And if you've visited Maine before, you know that if you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes, it'll change!

Thank you to everyone who participated in the survey I posted in last month's newsletter. I really appreciate everyone's comments and suggestions on the newsletter, website and product offerings. I have drawn the email address for the one month subscription and also seven names for a thank you package of 1/4 collage sheets to send out. Each recipient has been sent an email so please, if you got an email from me, send me your address so I can send you your package. Thank you again for your particpation. "Create Your Own" collage sheets: Here's how it works: You will select all the vintage trade card images you'd like and instead of downloading them and printing them yourself - you'd select the "create your own" link instead of the download link. I would then put all your images together on however many 8.5 by 11 sheets of 100 lb glossy stock and have them professionally printed. This process will add approximately 3 days to the turn around time but you will get professionally printed images of your choosing.

"Pick Your Own" collage sheet collections. Here's how it works: I have been offering packets of 5 collage sheets for a lower price than buying them individually but I am picking which 1/4 page collage sheets are included. Now you get the opportunity to put together the sheets YOU want for a reduced price.

And lastly, I've uploaded 24 new 1/4 page collage sheets. One set is themed Paris and has postage stamp edges and the other has miscellaneous themes (mostly all people) and has a distressed frame border for each image. Artist Collaborative Project:
The "class of 1938" is the title of the collaborative project that several people are taking part in. My good friend, Irrenay came across class photos from 1938 and put out a call to artists to alter them and create a chunky book to honor these forgotten images.

The collaborative project is being organized through my new yahoo group - Vintage Image Madness. You are welcome to join the group and keep tabs on our progress. And we are still looking for a few more players to participate in this unique and interesting project.

Vintage Image Madness - March Newsletter

I can't believe that I'm writing my 7th newsletter! I have just completed the first 6 months of the business. I'm so pleased with this little project I started and all the new online friends I have made. It doesn't seem possible!

I have gotten lots of feedback about the site and would like to gather some more. I have set up a customer satisfaction survey that I'd like to ask you to participate in. I have been trying to figure out new ways of meeting your needs as artists and have come up with a possible solution that I think is pretty neat. I call it "Create Your Own" collage sheets. I have opened this up to the vintage trade card category to start with. Vintage Image Madness - December Newsletter

This past month has been a lot of fun - I have "met" online lots of new art friends. I'd like to send a big hello to Lexi in Arizona for sending me a YUMMY package of vintage ephemera! Many, many thanks to you! You'll see lots of these images on the website now.

I have added over 200 new images to the website over the past couple of weeks. In doing so, I have added several new categories to the site to help keep all the images organized for your convenience (and mine too!)

Many of these images are from the package from Lexi, but I also added lots of vintage family photos from my mother's side of the family. Most of these images are either taken here in Portland, Maine or in England where they are originally from.

Vintage Image Madness - November Newsletter

I have been continuing to clean out my art room and have found many items that I still have WAY more of than I truly need. I have created a folder in the shoppe with these items available for purchase at a reasonable price. Please check it out - vintage trim, doublecross dominoes, vintage bingo markers, vintage cigar bands and vintage watch part vials are now available in limited quantities.

I have also put together several different packages of the 1/4 page collage sheets. These are themed packages of 4 sheets plus a bonus 5th sheet. Lot's of new things going on at Vintage Image Madness!

I've written and sent my first email newsletter! Please feel free to sign up to recieve this newsletter. I send only one per month and each one will contain an update on the site AND a link to a FREE downloadable image. Sign up today!
I've added new images to the film strip collections area as well as adding a whole new category called faux postage collections. I've uploaded 7 new collections in the faux postage category with several more ideas to follow soon. In the collections categories I have added glossy card stock prints to the line up too. These are nice heavy weight stock with a lovely glossy sheen.
I also spent some time going through a lot of supplies that I've been collecting over time and have come to realization that I have way more than I know what to do with. So....I've added a tag sale category with some of these supplies listed at reasonable prices. These have limited quantities so if you see something you might like or need, don't wait as it might be gone before long.
And finally, I've been doing some research and felt that the photo reprints of the vintage postcards were priced too high so I have dropped those prices back to what I think is more reasonable a price. Feedback on this and other items is always welcome - please feel free to use the contact us form.

I've been working on putting together quarter page size collections of images in "film strips". These are so fun to work with and I've enjoyed designing 5 different collage sheets for your use. You can print these out on paper, as a transparency or on a sticker sheet. They are the perfect size for either ATCs or Chunky Book pages.

Definitely more of these to come! I've got images picked out for at least 6 more quarter sheets and I can't wait to put them together for you.

You won't find these images individually on the site for purchase. They are only available in these collections at this time.
